Everyone is invited to attend “Come to the Garden: Grow a Community” the next three Sundays in June from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

This event is hosted by three local congregations in their gardens — First Christian Church on June 16; Faith Lutheran Church, June 23; and First Presbyterian Church, June 30.

Each gathering will begin with a time to meet, greet and sing fun campground songs. Experience of life in the garden at First Christian is planned to share deep listening, looking, smelling and even tasting the world around us. In the Lutheran Garden, we can expect to Feast in the Garden and the Presbyterians have a Labyrinth carved into the grass. Each evening will close with desserts and time to sit and have conversations as the sun goes down. Everyone of every age will find something that fits who they are and where they are in their life journey.

The Garden at First Christian Church faces North Washington Street next to the Pizzarriffic; enter from 715 N. St. Mary’s and walk in from the church parking lot. Lawn chairs will be provided but bring your favorite to ensure places for everyone. The three churches are ready to welcome everyone from everywhere — Come to the Garden: Grow a Community this Sunday evening, June 16, at 6:30.
