He was preceded in death by his father, Louis M. Walker.
Survivors include his mother, Evola Walker of Beeville; his wife, Phyllis Renee Walker; a son, Drew Walker of Corpus Christi; two daughters, Shana Walker and Faith Walker, both of Corpus Christi; a granddaughter, Skylar Walker; five brothers, Kerry Louis (Callie) Walker of Midway, Richard Marcellous (Susan) Walker of Ingleside, Keith Wayne (Bertha) Walker of Lubbock, Robert Earl (Marva) Walker of Corpus Christi and Kevin Ray (Bernadette) Walker of Bloomington; and seven sisters; Linda R. Walker, Sandra Louise Walker, Patricia Ann Walker, Brenda Denise (Earl) Youngblood and Gloria Jean Walker, all of Houston, Eyvonne Marie (Rhea) Mayberry and Gwendolyn Rose Walker, both of Beeville.
Visitation was held Friday, May 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Treviño Funeral Home chapel.
The funeral service was conducted there Saturday, June 1, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Eric Tarver officiating. Burial followed at the St. Rose Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Michael Brand, J.R. Walker, Mitchel Smith, Bernard Mayberry, Josh Barnes, Frankie Castillo, Lionel Hodge and Kenny Ray King.
Honorary pallbearers were Kenny Walker, Ronnie Walker, Ricky Walker, Mac Rochelle, Larry Rochelle, Fred Segura, Darren McCoy and David Segura.
