The Bee County Historical Society will hold a meeting Monday, April 29, at 6 p.m. in the McClanahan House to close out the 2013 Living History Celebration and begin planning for the 2014 Celebration.

Plans are to keep the basic format of historical speakers, Native American events, local entertainers and food and drink vendors, along with craftsman and artisan vendors. There are lots of other historical type venues that could be added, especially things of interest to children and youth. All suggestions and ideas are welcome.

This meeting is open to the public, and the community is invited to come and give some input into how 2014 can be a bigger and better event.
