The Kenedy Chamber of Commerce has quite a lot going on this week. Thursday, March 7, we will welcome Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. to Kenedy. They will hold a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and social hour between 5-7 p.m. in their new office located at 322 W. Main, Suite 106. All community members are welcome to attend this Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The Kenedy Chamber of Commerce is hosting March's Second Friday Community Breakfast this Friday, March 8 at 7 a.m. Any citizen interested in wanting to know important happenings in our Karnes County community is invited to attend. Come grab coffee and breakfast as we share in fellowship.

Kenedy Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 35th Annual Bluebonnet Days Coronation Friday, April 19 at the Kenedy High School Auditorium. It’s official, all entries have been received and the positions for candidacy are now closed. The Bluebonnet Days Committee be hosting rehearsals at the Chamber of Commerce office every Sunday evening (with the exception of Easter Sunday) until the day of the Pageant. Practices are scheduled as follows: Little Mr. & Miss bluebonnet 2013 practice start punctually from 3 p.m. - 3:30 p.m; Jr. Miss Bluebonnet Pageant 2013 practice start punctually from 3:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.; Miss Bluebonnet Day 2013 practice start punctually from 4 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Friendly Reminder: photo session is scheduled at the Joe Gulley Park at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 10. Please be punctual as rehearsal will commence immediately following photo session. We will be taking both group and individual photos at this time. Attire: Sunday’s best.
