In addition, Samantha and her acrobatic partner, Thalia, won the silver medal in the Women’s Pair Level 8 event at the 2012 U.S. National Acrobatic Gymnastics Championships held in Detroit, Mich. The pair will be representing the U.S. in an international competition in Frankfurt, Germany from Oct. 11-14.
Later this year, they will spend a week at the famous Bela Karolyi National Training Center for Women’s Gymnastics, training with the National Team. Samantha and Thalia are coached by Rumen and Radostina Latchkov of Boerne Gymnastics Center.
