Approximately 150 people attended the 2012 Lott-Canada School Reunion held here Aug. 2-4, according to Martha Stovall, Lott-Canada Alumni Association chair. The event’s theme was “We Build the Ladder By Which We Rise.”
Included in the events were the Ralph McCraig Golf Tournament, a memorial ceremony at St. Rose Cemetery, banquet, fashion show and dance at the Bee County Expo Center and other games and activities, along with a visit to Lott-Canada museum see the wall of honor and share the history of the school and community. The reunion ended with Sunday services at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church and a luncheon.
For the golf tournament, winners were Daniel Lopez Jr.; Championship Flight: Daniel Lopez Jr. (1st) and James “Batsy” Martin (2nd); First Flight: Ron McCraig (1st) and Eugene Langley (2nd); Second Flight: Henry Roy (1st) and Joe Webb Sr. (2nd).
