Dorothy Wolfe Brazier, 84, died Thursday, July 26, 2012, in a Uvalde hospital from congestive heart failure.

Ms. Brazier was born in Pawnee to Thurman and Frances Benham Wolfe on Oct. 27, 1928. She loved working crossword puzzles, sewing Barbie doll clothes for her granddaughters and making quilts with her sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Oliver Wolfe of Beeville and John “Sonny” Wolfe of Longview; and four sisters, Lois Foster Smith of Three Rivers, Lillian Kibbey of Corpus Christi, Wilma Gorbit of Mathis and Rachel Angermiller of Pawnee.

Survivors include a daughter, Dawn (Eric) Evans of Reagan Wells; four grandchildren, Austin, Eli, Nova and Chloe; and a brother, AT Wolfe of Berclair.

The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. at the Brush Country Cowboy Church in George West on Saturday.

Arrangements were under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary, Uvalde.
