Baldo Salazar has been elected Spotlight Officer of the Quarter by his fellow officers, according to Police Chief Joe Treviño. The honor, awarded to an officer each three months of a year, recognizes a city police officer for relentless enforcement of laws and a positive attitude with eagerness to improve on a daily basis. Salazar is the first officer to receive the honor.
