The 4-H clubs, Boy Scouts, Historical Society and Beeville Garden Club are combining their efforts on Saturday from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. to spruce up the McClanahan House (Beeville oldest residence), and the Community Affairs/Veteran’s Affairs/AgriLife Extension Office Building surroundings, located at 210 E. Corpus Christi St.

The Beeville Garden Club has been offered a donation of two concrete benches to install in the cleaned-up landscape, and they have plans for xeriscaping to reduce the problem of water shortage.
