BAYSIDE – The Ladies Guild of Bayside’s Education Committee was honored to receive applications from two Bayside graduating students who are continuing their education in the fall of 2013. Lauren Nicole Cramer, valedictorian of Woodsboro High School, has been accepted into the College of Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she will major in bio-medical engineering. Alicen Page Grimes will be studying bio-medical science at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, with a goal of becoming a veterinarian. Both of these students received documentation that they will each receive a $500 Ladies Guild of Bayside Education Award at the Bayside VFD and Graduating Student Appreciation Dinner to be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 10, at the Community Center in Bayside.

Not every town can say that it has a 100 percent graduation rate, and the Guild is proud of Bayside graduating students; Lauren Cramer, Alicen Grimes, Emily Merritt and David Nix.

We want to say thank you to all individuals and businesses who support our efforts to help students get post graduate vocational or academic educational training toward their career goals.

It is because of your generous contributions, that the Appreciation Dinner and the Guild Education Award is possible.
