The 35th annual Bluebonnet Days Festival was an enormous success. The parade was great, thanks to all who entered. Our Bluebonnet Days Queen and her Court looked stunning on top of their float. They all acted as remarkable representatives throughout this special event in Kenedy. The festival at the park was very busy with people enjoying their time. The kids had a blast playing on all of the games that Gigs Inc. provided us for the day. All of the barbecue tasted yummy, thanks to everyone who entered the cook-off. The Dirty Texas Band played throughout the whole afternoon and they sure did supply us with some wonderful musical entertainment. All in all, this year’s festival was great fun.

The Kenedy Chamber of Commerce would like to thank ConocoPhillips and the Kenedy Youth Football League for providing us with volunteers to work the games at the event. The kids wouldn’t have been able to enjoy themselves as much as they did without you. We would like to send out a special thanks to the City of Kenedy and the Parks Board, for working so hard to make our city look beautiful, streets were clean, grass was cut throughout Kenedy, and the Joe Gulley Park was just outstanding. I myself would like to thank my Board of Directors, the greatest board in the world for helping and always being there when needed throughout the whole process of planning and executing Bluebonnet Days. We thank all of you that attended the Bluebonnet Days Festival this year. Without your attendance it would not have been such a success.
