EL CAMPO -- Misting rain and frigid cold weather didn't seem to have an effect on Bobcats Friday night at Ricebird Stadium.

The Refugio Bobcats dug in and defeated Danbury 42-13 in a game that was a step up for Quarterback Travis Quintanilla. And it was an area championship for Refugio.

Quintanilla broke the all time touchdown passing record despite the cold and slippery rain.

Next week's game for Refugio as it advances in the playoffs will start at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, against Rogers at Cy-Fair in Houston.
