It is hard to believe we are in the last six weeks of the school year.
Our students will be going on end-of-the-year field trips this month. The seventh-grade students and teachers went to Austin on Monday, May 6. Students visited the State Capital, the Bob Bullock Museum and Imax Theatre.

Mrs. Wimberly’s seventh-grade reading classes are making their paper bag projects over their favorite books. They have turned in their front and back of the project and are now working on the sides and insides of the project. They are showing they have learned their literary terms and learned how to research. All projects are due by May 15.
Mrs. Gohmert, the Goliad Middle School counselor, and Mrs. Henning, the Goliad High School counselor, met with all eighth-grade students and their parents or guardians in 15-minute sessions to go over schedules for high school the week of April 29-May 3. The students also received their scores on the STAAR test that they took in March.
