Billionaire New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Friday doesn't think too much of Occupiers saying in an interview with New York City's WOR Radio, "If the jobs they're trying to get rid of in the city—the people that work in finance, which is a big part of our economy—go away, we're not going to have any money to pay our municipal employees or clean the parks or anything else."
And another thing, he says: "None of this is good for tourism."
Tourism? Really? Come on Bloomberg, everyone knows that you have financial interests on Wall Street that cloud your judgment. Statements like the one above provide further proof that the Occupy movements are necessary. How many people believe that the mayor cares about municipal employees? When do you think that the mayor or anyone is his family has been to a public park in NYC when they have the option of going to private clubs instead?
Nope, Mayor Bloomberg—you failed and you just don’t get it.
