Officers were dispatched at 11:49 p.m. on Saturday night, March 12, and found the body of Lucas Darrell Martin, who apparently died from a stab wound at a residence located on Overby Road just outside the Kenedy City limits.
A juvenile was arrested, but because of the age of the alleged perpetrator, authorities are not releasing the name of the person arrested.
According to police, witness statements indicate the death may have been the result of a juvenile defending a third person from further violence.
Kenedy police and DPS officers are assisting with the investigation.
The Bexar County medical examiner will conduct an autopsy.
