GOLIAD – Goliad boys head track and field coach and assistant football coach John Livas has been named the new head football coach and athletic director at Skidmore-Tynan.

Livas has ties to Bee County as he was on the staff of the Beeville Trojans under head coach Chris Soza. He left in 2007 for a position at Tuloso-Midway. Livas was more recently the head coach for the Uvalde Coyotes before coming to Goliad last year.
