Karnes City High School class of 1953 invited classes from 1952 and 1954 for a joint 60th tri-reunion anniversary Saturday, June 29 at the Karnes City High School cafeteria. Over 60 classmates and spouses gathered at 11 a.m. for fellowship and conversation.

While three people traveled from Arkansas, California and Georgia, 24 others came from other colorful Texas towns like Alice, Canyon Lake, Dripping Springs, Grand Prairie, Levelland, Mineral and Spring Branch.

Sam Harper, class of 1953 president, greeted and welcomed all the familiar friends. A catered luncheon brought back high school memories of lining up for food. Class directories were given to each attendee and others were mailed to the forty one who were not able to attend.
