As of 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, Throwdown 2.0 is officially over. Team Everyone Else and I are neck and neck, battling for every page. Right now, the race is too close to call. I'll give the final numbers and details next week after all of the pages have been counted, but I'll give you some preliminary reports.

Team Everyone Else has read over 1000 more pages this year than they did last year, which is incredible. That's more than 12,000 pages total in a month of reading, which is beyond awesome! The individual race is as close as the team race, with 3 readers over 2,400 pages (and 2 closing in on 3,000). Everyone deserves a standing ovation for how well they did.

Final numbers and the awarding of prizes will take place on Wednesday, August 14 at 3 p.m., so join us there to celebrate the unbelievable awesomeness of Team Everyone Else.
