Early voting started Monday

GOLIAD – Early voting began in Goliad County on Monday at Goliad City Hall and the Goliad ISD Superintendent’s Office.

City Secretary Pam Long said approximately 15 people had cast their early votes at City Hall by noon Monday.

Those wanting to cast early votes in the election between incumbent Dick Mollicone and challenger Michelle Reitz for the District 6 school board post must do so at the Goliad ISD Superintendent’s Office at 161 N. Welch St.

Those wanting to cast early votes in the city council election for the three places between Buddy Zavesky, Lionel Garcia, Vicki Rubio, Eric Garza, Roney Powell and Liz Holsey must do so at City Hall.

Early voting for the May 11 election ends Tuesday, May 7.
