Matt and Lee Dockery, of Karnes City, Texas, are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Cassie Dockery, to Gilberto Villela, son of Luis and Judith Villela, of McAllen, Texas.

Cassie is the granddaughter of Anita Dockery, of Adkins, Texas, and Elaine Green and the late Colonel Bud Green, of Dillon, South Carolina. Gilberto is the grandson of Jose Gilberto Resendez Herrera and the late Alicia A. de Resendez of Reynosa, Mexico, and Berta Leon de Villela and the late Amado Villela Velazquez of Reynosa, Mexico.

The couple met at their alma mater, Baylor University, in Waco, Texas. Cassie is a 2005 graduate of Karnes City High School, and a 2008 graduate of Baylor University. She is currently the owner of Seymour Construction, based in Karnes City. Gilberto is a 2005 graduate of The Science Academy of South Texas, and a 2010 graduate of Baylor University. He is currently a petroleum engineer.

The couple is planning a September wedding on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas.
