BEEVILLE — The Beeville Police Department is trying to reconnect some burglary and theft victims with their lost property.

Police Chief Joe Treviño said Thursday that the BPD had recovered several items of stolen property.

He said anyone who might have been the victim of a recent theft or burglary should find some way to identify that property and prove ownership, either by a receipt or a box in which the item was purchased.

Detective Matthew Miller is the person at the BPD to contact, Treviño said.

Anyone who would like to see if his or her property has been recovered should contact the BPD at 358-8100 or stop in at the police station, 402 N. Washington St., and ask for Miller.
