BEEVILLE – The fourth annual Ubaldo “Blackie” Adamez-Field of Dreams golf tournament will be held on June 15 with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start at the John C. Beasley Municipal Golf Course.

It will be played to provide scholarship assistance under the Mijo & Mija Memorial Scholarship Fund to area youths looking to continue their education.

The entry fee is $70 per player or $280 per four-man team. It will be played as a four-man scramble under the Fisher Factor Handicap system. The fee includes green fees, cart, range balls and a meal with a drink.

An award of $900 will go to the first place team, $600 for second and $300 for third. The field is limited to the first 18 teams to register. Several contests will also be played within the tournament and mulligans (one per player) can be purchased for $20. A “Tiger” drive on hole No. 7 only can also be purchased for $20 for the team.

For more information and to register, call the pro shop at the course at 362-7618 or contact Bebe Adamez at 319-8500 or 358-1490.
