COMMERCIAL STEER VALIDATION

Commercial Steer Validation for the 2014 Karnes County Youth Show is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 10 from 8 – 9 a.m. at the Karnes County Livestock Exchange in Kenedy.

2013 SPORTS NUTRITION CONFERENCE

July 18, Holiday Inn Emerald Beach, Corpus Christi. The Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service is hosting this conference which is designed to help participants learn the importance of appropriate nutrition and hydration for maximum athletic performance, general health, and wellbeing. Special guests are:Roberta J. Arding, MS, RD, LD, CSSD, CDE. (Sports dietician for Houston Texans NFL Team, The Houston Astros, and The Rice Owls). Amy Goodson, MS, RD, CSSD, LD.
