I read The Countywide, where two of the Patriots responded to the letter of resignation by Judge Shaw.
The first Patriot stated that it was done as a way to keep different people up to date on various incidents and situations involving county officials. He called it political satire. An attempt to using some levity and humor, it was a joke. Well, let me ask you Patriots, what if this was done to your to your mother, wife or daughter, would this be very humorous or very a very funny joke? I guess not.
The other patriot claims that Mr. Shaw made a racist remark when he called him Pancho Villa. Pancho Villa was a Mexican. This Patriot is (Hispanic). How can this be racist? Pancho Villa must have a lot of kinfolk here in Texas, maybe he is related to me. I would rather be called Pancho Villa than a (brown-noser). God bless the people of Karnes County.
