On April 18th Bud Ammerman went home to be with the Lord. In his final days he had spokenof so many friends that had already gone to Heaven and how he longed to see them again, but mostly he wanted to see his beloved wife once again, and of course his Savior who had extended so much love and grace to him.

Thank you for your prayers, calls, friendship, and love for our Dad, Grandfather, and Brother; he is now, as Fanny Crosby wrote in her heart given hymn, Safe in the Arms of Jesus.

He was loved in life, surrounded by family in the last hours of life with prayers and singing of his favorite hymns, and will be missed until we see him again in Heaven.

The memorial service will be on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Choate Baptist Church located at 6355 State Highway 239 in Choate, Texas. There will be a fellowship at the church following the service. Burial will be at the Choate Baptist Church Cemetery located on Highway 239 between Choate and Kenedy, Texas.

Thank You Heavenly Father for the gift of Your Son, the loan of the life our beloved Dad, grandfather, brother, and friend, the provision of eternal life, and the promise of Jesus' soon return; please guide our steps by the counsel of Your Word, the power of Your Spirit, and the desire to honor You in our steps of faith.
