LULING – Dalton Sturm and Davian Duncan each scored 15 points to lead the Goliad Tigers to a 53-47 Class 2A bi-district playoff win over the Universal City Randolph Ro-Hawks on Tuesday night.

Goliad, which improved to 26-8, will face the Taft Greyhounds at 7 p.m. Friday at the Calhoun High School gym in Port Lavaca.

Alfred Ortiz had nine points, Carl Roy added eight and Eric Long tossed in six for the Tigers.

Tickets for Friday's game will be $4 for adults and $2 for students.
