Three area congregations of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America designated their Lenten offerings to support Cross Trails Ministry.

St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Schroeder, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Ander, and Zion Lutheran Church in Arneckeville shared joint Lenten and Holy Week worship services in February and March.

The offerings received at the joint Lenten services held at St. Luke’s, St. Peter’s and Zion totaled $3,176.

Cross Trails Ministry is a year-round camp and retreat ministry owned by the congregations of the Southwestern Texas Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

The offering was given through the offering at the 2013 synod assembly of the Southwestern Texas Synod, held May 4-5 in Kerrville. The offering for the camping and retreat ministry received at the synod assembly totaled $69,506.
