Help sought to solve Goliad ISD burglaries

GOLIAD – Four burglaries have been reported over the last month on Goliad ISD property.

The first occurred on or about May 15 when entry was gained into the Goliad Intermediate School. A bag of clothing and an iPod was taken from the office of the assistant principal.

The second was reported on June 6. A Toshiba notebook and DVD was taken from the counselor’s office at Goliad Intermediate School.

The third was reported on June 25 when it was discovered that soft-drink and snack machines at Goliad High School were damaged. The band hall was also entered and a beige office safe containing an undetermined amount of money was taken.

The fourth was on the night of June 26 at an undetermined time when Goliad Middle School was entered and a vending machine damaged.

Coastal Bend Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information about the burglaries. Call the Crime Stoppers tip line at 877-362-0206 or 361-362-0206. Callers’ identities will remain anonymous. A cash reward could be offered.
