Goliad senior Ashtin Zamzow was named the Most Valuable Player on the All-District 30-2A volleyball team released Monday.

Goliad freshman Kendall Coles was named the district’s co-MVP setter and freshman Roxanne Morris was selected the co-Newcomer of the Year.

Goliad’s Jess Morris was chosen Coach of the Year.

Zamzow, Morris, Coles, Megan Hilscher and Mallory Bruns were selected to the first team.

Bailey Janssen and Bethany Salziger were chosen to the second team. Sydney Morris received honorable mention.

Roxanne Morris, Katy Salziger, Zamzow, Kendall Coles, Sydney Morris, Bethany Salziger, Janssen, Danielle Garza, Kristie Coles, Hilscher and Bruns were named to the district’s all-academic team.
