COLLEGE STATION - Goliad's Ryder Billo fell 6-4, 6-3 to Tuscola Jim Ned's Reese Cook in Tuesday morning's Class 2A boys singles championship in the UIL State Tennis Tournament at Texas A&M's Mitchell Tennis Center.

Billo, a junior finished the season with a 42-2 record.

"This was awesome," Billo said. "Just getting to come up here and stay and making it to the finals was awesome."
