Did you know that your local library offers free eBooks to patrons? The Goliad County Library is a member of the South Texas Library Consortium. There are currently 20 libraries in the consortium which gives our patrons a wide selection of material to choose from in many formats including audiobooks, eBooks, music and video!

Start by going to the Goliad County website,, click on the library tab, and then click on the Overdrive graphic. Library patrons can browse the collection, check out items with your patron ID, download to a PC, Mac, and many mobile devices. Patrons may check out up to five books at once and titles will automatically expire at the end of a three week lending period.

For more information, come by the library at 320 S. Commercial or call 645-2291. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
