Wildlife group announces 2014 Field Day to be held May 10

The Bee County Wildlife Management Association announces that Field Day 2014 will be held Saturday, May 10, beginning at 9 a.m.

Everyone interested is invited to attend this free event. Guest speakers will be Forrest Smith, Dan L. Duncan endowed director of the South Texas Native and Texas Native Seeds Project, who will speak on native grasses and forbes, and Kent Williamson, TPWD biologist, who’s topic will be “Browse Survey.”

The event will be held at the Diamond T Ranch east of Beeville, 1.5 miles past the prison on Highway 202 to gate on Private Road 4016. No advance registration is required.
