The Beeville community has once again contributed many items during the last several months to be sent to our servicemen and women serving in our military overseas. VFW Post & Auxiliary 9170, American Legion Auxiliary 274, St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, St. Mary’s Academy, many individuals and residents have contributed to this project. Packages are sent four times a year, and the next shipment will be sent at the beginning of December – just in time for Christmas. Collections for items to be sent for the Christmas boxes are now being accepted and may be dropped off at the VFW Post Home or at 300 W. Hutchinson St. For more information, call 358-1550.
