Here, as indeed in all of America, the majority of obammie and crew supporters realize they will soon be defeated while the rest are experiencing what a horrific mistake they made and grown silent running for cover.

To them I say move out and draw fire!!!

Oh yes, get ready for a 1000 point down dow day.

IMPEACH OBAMA!!!

HAVE A GOP DAY!!!!

Beeville’s Sam Serna leaves a fallen Coyote behind during Monday’s JV soccer match with Alice at Veterans Memorial Stadium. The Coyotes got a late first half goal and that was all the scoring as the visitors hung on for a 1-0 win over the young Trojans in the tight defensive game.

On Monday night, the JV boys battled the Alice Coyote soccer team and on Tuesday night the Lady Trojan JV faced off against their Lady Coyote counterparts at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

The two games were split, with the Beeville boys getting edged 1-0 in a defensive battle while the Lady Trojans eased in with a 5-1 victory.

The first half of the Trojans game was all defense up until the last minute. The Coyotes had a few shots-on-goal and one last one with under a minute to go in the half glanced off the hands of Trojan keeper Lloyd Sutherland and slowly rolled across the goal line. It was a 1-0 contest at the half but the Trojans had played well over the first 30 minutes.

The second half was a back-and-forth contest with neither team creating a good deal of offense but both teams settled into the defensive battle. The Coyotes almost added to their total late in the match but Sutherland made two quick saves to prevent the visitors from lighting up the scoreboard again. Sam Serna paced the Beeville offense but no one really got a clean, open shot at goal for the young Trojans.

The Beeville ladies were on the field in the mist on Tuesday night. The Alice Lady Coyotes proved to be no match for the Lady Trojan passing game and determination. Alexis Pelitire drove home the first Beeville goal with just a minute and a half gone in the first half. Anissa Cantu struck for the second goal with 12:03 left in the first 30 minutes to give the Lady Trojans a little cushion.

The momentum was definitely on the Lady Trojans’ side and the Beeville girls added two more goals before halftime. Pelitire hit her second goal as her kick was partially blocked but rolled past the Alice keeper and into the net for a 3-0 Beeville lead.

Celeste Contreras finished off the first half scores with a short breakaway with 2:57 left in the half.

Defensively in the first half, Samantha Moya and Kristen Almeida kept the visitors away from Beeville keeper Amber Puebla.

The second half was a little closer but the four-goal cushion was too much to overcome. The Lady Coyotes got one past first-time goal keeper Anessa Dembowski early but that was all she would allow the visitors the rest of the way.

Porsha Beltran kicked the final goal of the game at the 24:21 mark of the second half to make the final a 5-1 win for the Lady Trojans.

Defensively in the second half, Anissa Cantu, Leslie Alaniz and Almeida stepped up along with Calisa Morón. Emily Head, Moya and Logan Maldonado played well on the offense in the second half for the hosts.

“The girls did a pretty good job. We’re still undefeated at 3-0 and we’re getting ready to play district beginning on Friday,” said JV coach Amber Orchard.

Trojans hit bitter cold spell, fall to Calhoun

In the game of basketball, there are those nights when the best of shooters can’t find their range or even hit the broad side of the proverbial barn.

It happened to the Beeville Trojans on Tuesday night in Port Lavaca against the Sandcrabs. Calhoun won easily, 47-15.

The Trojans did play some tough defense against the Sandcrabs but could not even buy a basket most of the night.

“I was impressed with our defensive play against Port Lavaca. Our defense held them to only 20 points at half,” said head coach Abel Barrera.

“John Camacho and Jeffrey Stafford held their leading scorer to only five points. And Dakota Del Bosque and Conner Shears provided some intensity for us on the defense.”

The shots were there, according to coach Barrera, but nothing was falling.

“We took some wide-open shots, but that night they just weren’t going in, Barrera said.

The Trojans got six points from Camacho and five from Dakota Del Bosque. Shears and Chet Sparks each had two in the loss.

“I did tell the team at halftime and after the game that I liked their defensive pressure. They kept on competing until the final buzzer,” Barrera said.

The Trojans were host to the Rockport-Fulton Pirates on Friday night and will play at Moody on Tuesday evening.
