BEEVILLE — Investigators with the Bee County Sheriff's Office are looking into a shooting incident which left a 29-year-old man seriously injured early Sunday morning.

According to Deputy Lt. Ronnie Jones, the shooting took place at about 1:31 a.m. in the Blueberry Hill Subdivision just west of the city.

Deputies Cecil Daniels and Taylor Clevenger arrived in the 200 block of North Treptow Street to discover a man who had been shot repeatedly outside a residence there.

Information about the incident is limited at this time, but the shooting allegedly was a result of a argument between the suspect and the victim.

Bee County Sheriff Carlos Carrizales Jr. and additional deputies arrived within minutes to render assistance in the investigation.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his late 20’s and investigators are still developing leads as to the suspect’s identity and whereabouts.

The victim was rushed to an area hospital for treatment and is said to be in serious but stable condition.

Futher updates on the incident are expected later in the week.
