The 100 Angel-themed works were completed between 2010 and 2013. Each work is tied into the other with halos of gold leaf stars which correspond to the pieces place in the exhibit. The works are mixed media, digitally altered photographs, photo collages’ paintings, drawings and several 3-D pieces created from various materials.
The community is invited to the exhibit on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. for an opening reception of the “100 Angels Project.” Klein will be present for a gallery talk as well.
Come and support the ARTS, organizers say; as always, the gallery is kid-friendly. Second Street Gallery is located at 122 S. Second St. in Kenedy. Call Saundra Schultz at 830-583-2330 for more information or directions.
