Jason was a Catholic, a loving son and father. Jason loved spending time on the water, fishing and listening to music. He loved his family and time spent watching ESPN sports, basketball and sports of all kinds. Bird had worked for eight years as an electrician.
In addition to his parents, Sylvia and Robert Cuellar, Jr. of Van; “Bird” is survived by his wife, Jessica Powell Miller of Van; son, Jathon Javier Miller; daughter, Jadiss Rhianne Miller, both of Van; sisters, Michelle Lee Miller and Jennifer Lynn Cuellar, both of Victoria; brother, Robert “Bob” Cuellar, III of Victoria; grandfather, Porfirio Garza Ramirez, Jr.; grandmother, Maria Montez Ramirez, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cuellar, Sr., all of Victoria; two nieces, Kyleigh Harrison and Emmie Nicole Garcia of Victoria and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Porfirio and Lucia Ramirez, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Santiago Montez, Sr.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at 9 a.m. at Grace Funeral Home with Deacon Ed Molina, officiating. Friends and family visited after the service from 10-11 a.m. at Grace Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of usual remembrances, the family request that memorials be made in Jason’s name to the Jason Miller Children’s Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank.
