Ida Lee Moore, 70, formerly of Beeville, died at Scenic Mountain Hospital in Big Spring.

Mrs. Moore was born Nov. 20, 1941, in Hope, Ark., to William and Willie Bell and was the youngest of 16 children. She married her high school sweetheart, Emmit Charles Moore Sr., in 1957 and graduated from A.C. Jones High School in 1959.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmit Sr.; and a daughter, Sharleen.

Survivors include a son, Emmit (Louise) Moore Jr. of Pecos; a sister, Esther Ewing of Chicago, Ill.; two grandchildren, Susan Lee Mitchell and Catherine Lee Moore; two sisters in-law, Clara Blackwell, and Beverly Toliver of Beeville; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The funeral service was conducted Monday, Aug. 13, at 1 p.m. at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Eric R. Tarver officiating. Interment followed at Saint Rose Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jesse Robinson, Kevin Anderson, Edward Ousley, Darren Ousley, Michael Wade and Lionel Hodge.
