The dispatchers at the Live Oak Criminal Justice Center received over 476 complaints from April 4 – April 18.

Hit and runs, reckless driving and theft complaints continue to rise in Live Oak County.

A few of the other complaints received by the LOC sheriff’s office are as follows.

Sandia - Caller advised they are trying to sell their home but the neighbors goats are making this harder because they have eaten all the neighbors grass and are effecting the property value.

TR - Caller informs dispatchers that a man has decided to take a nap on the floor of the Post Office.

GW - A disturbance call at the courthouse was a woman screaming and yelling in the hallways demanding to speak with a judge that was not present at the time.

GW - Caller reports that someone vandalized his truck over night, his truck was now covered in various stickers.

LOC - Home owners report that upon entering their weekend home they discovered someone had broke in but took nothing and left the refrigerator door wide open.

LOC - Complaint concerning a man on highway 59 pointing a rifle at passing vehicles, the man was actually holding a pressure washer.

TR - Caller informs sheriffs that neighbors pit bull was in her chicken coop and she had to use a hoe to keep the dog from biting her, caller stated next time she would just shoot the dog.

TR - Caller request assistance, she is babysitting and the children will not mind her and they refuse to help her clean the house.

GW - Disturbance call from a man angry that he was told a price for his metal but after the unloaded all he had the worker then told him a different and much lower price.

LOC - Caller advises that her nephew keeps harassing her by sending her computer viruses and he is not allowed to contact her in any way.

TR - Caller request assistance because a neighbor is threatening to send his girlfriend over to beat her up.

GW - Caller reports that when he arrived home he discovered that his wife had destroyed his big screen television, tore up the house, took his bank card, all his cash and has now left.
