THREE RIVERS – The Big Bang Salsa Festival will be held Saturday, July 5, beginning at noon at the Hilbert Kopplin Park in Three Rivers.

There will be salsa tasting and judging, rides and face painting for the children, vendor and food booths and lots of entertainment.

Entertainment on the main stage will include Chris Rybak and Santiago Jimenez, Cadeno y Sus Cojuento, Roger Moya and Grupo Moya, Rob “Elvis” Carter amd South of Heaven. Evening entertainment will be provided by Gary Glen and 20X and The Pear Ratz. There will also be a fireworks display.

Performing on Stage 2 will be the Chris Rybak Band, the Brush Country Music Jamboree Band with guest performers Ricky Turpin (who will play twin fiddles with Joe Nixon), Sally Carlson, Debbie Reider, Curtis Richard, Rick Maguglin, South Texas legend Al Dean and the Rocky Roberts family.
