Eastside Church of Christ in Beeville welcomes its new preacher, Jerral Kay, and his wife, Shirley.

The community is invited to meet them this Sunday in the worship center at 10:25 a.m. and 2 p.m. The church building is located at 2060 CR 403 (one block east of 181 and 351 intersection).

Kay’s plans are to build up the congregation in teaching the good news of Jesus Christ and assist the church in personal work of saving souls for Jesus. The church invited the Kayes to move to Beeville to help in doing the Lord’s work. The congregation desires to grow and are glad to have the Kayes, who have planted churches in different places of the United States and the Philippines.

Most of Kay’s preaching career was in distant places doing missionary work, working with different nationalities and cultures, from villages to metropolitan areas, from prairie to the mountains.

He has trained faithful men to preach and teach the pure Word of God (most recently, Joto Koprinarov of Bulgaria). He is dedicated to helping neighbors as well as strangers to realize their valuable spiritual gifts from God to serve and live the wonderful life found only in Christ.

He laid aside worldly ambitions to be a servant to the Lord’s church and community and assist honest souls with their spiritual needs. The Kayes conduct home Bible studies and offer anyone free Bible dvds to answer the important Bible questions, such as “What must I do to be saved?” and “Why are there so many churches today?”

Being a sinner in the past, he came out of the world with others seeking to return to the Bible and commit to learning pure Bible teaching: ”Speak where the Bible speaks and be silent where the Bible is silent!”

The Kayes have researched Bee County and see the glory of God working in many wonderful ways of faith, hope and charity. They desire to do the work of an evangelist and be part of the spiritual works that are happening in Beeville and the area.
