The band plays raucous, rebel Texas Country and Rock mixed with some heartfelt lyrics. Fenley’s voice is often compared to Joe Cocker and Otis Redding.
Fenley has been playing for more than 10 years and is currently touring his band’s newest album, A Minute to Breathe, which is available on iTunes.
In a previous interview, Fenley said, “I don’t write hate songs or negative songs. I really write a lot of love songs.
“Not love songs just between a man and a woman, but love about where you are in the world and being grateful for that.
“It’s easy to write a love song when you’re 16 years old and you just got your heart broken. But it’s really hard to pick yourself up and write about what you really want out of life.”
The live show is never one to be missed. Whether the group is rapping, beatboxing, covering 90s hits, getting the crowd to join him on stage or just having the audience buy him shots, they bring the party everywhere the go.
The band will take the stage at 9:30 p.m. Saturday at Scores Bar & Grill, 1502 North St. Mary’s St.
