Jump hooks, lay-ups, short-range jumpers and long three-pointers were all the rage at Saturday’s Coastal Bend College basketball tournament. The round-robin, double elimination tourney went all day with the two top teams playing a total of six games in one day.
The winners of the Coastal Bend College summer basketball tournament included, in random order, Brock Kimball, Chris Cote, Jason Atterbury, Ryan Cote, Tim Stowe and Catherine Stowe. Catherine was a member of the Texas A&M national championship team from a couple of years ago and more than held her own against the men in the tournament.
