The date is special in the ELCA as, together, congregations will be in service to their communities on “God’s Work, Our Hands” Sunday. The dinner will be drive through or dine in at the church, 1500 E. FM 351, on Sept. 8 from 11:45 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. and will be a half chicken, potato salad, beans, trimmings and dessert. The cost is $ 7 per ticket, and pre-sale tickets are available from Habitat board members in the community. The dinner is being prepared by the Men of Faith, led by Fred Schauer and Buddy Kopplin.
